HELLOOOOOOO out there!! If your still here thankyou and so sorry to people that have left due to me not being here :( Life has just been way too busy for me lately, and sadly I neglected My scrapbooking, but it needed to be done to get my life back in order the way it should of been. Everything is brilliant now :D
And on another note, I went to a scrap retreat over the weekend, Exactly What I needed and a big kick up the butt I needed too, to get back into gear :) I now realise I can still scrap but I just need to organise my time management. Thankyou to Dalena from Uproar Scrapmore who organised this amazing retreat, I met so many wonderful and inspiring ladies who I am so happy to now call my friends, I look forward to continuing some amazing friendships with you all. Also a huge thankyou to my bunk buddies who put up with me throughout the late nights, too much gasbaging done and not enough sleep, but meh sleep's overated! I also met some of the most amazing people ever, Kylie Law and her mum, YOu both a just truly beautiful people, I am so fortunate to have met you and to now continue this amazing friendship with ya, My loves yas to bits!! Kirstin, omg girl what a crack up you are too, we are so much alike its not funny! She was my bunk buddy and had me in fits of laughter also, look forwar to our amazing frienship too :) Also met some amazing people who made the huge trip over from perth and tasmania, you were all such lovely lovely lovely people, thankyou for making this retreat awesome. Met up again with alot of friends also, lisa, sharon,Dalena,Karen, chris and em! Love you girls to bits too! So lucky I get to see these girlies on a regular basis :) And can now add another local to the list, Jen! You are just awesome and such a clever card maker and only just over the road from me too, so lots of catching up with this chicky for sure! Overall everyone I met were just truly beautiful people! I couldnt of asked for a better bunch of ladies to make my first retreat spectacular!! Bring on the next one I say!!

I also have done some layouts too, but will upload them late sometime today :) STAY TUNED, NOW AND FOREVER! XXX

HELLOOOO!!! If anyone is left out there lol.....
I feel so so so slack that I havent updated in ages...Truth is I have been extremely busy with Creative Butterfly Designs. The response from everyone has been incredible and so uplifting. Also another truth..I havent done any scrapbooking since the competition...I was just soo exhausted afterwards that I took a step back from my scrappin to focus on my family, myself and my new venture. But fear not...Scrapbooking is still a passion of mine that I will contine to do...The new year will be looking bright and creative. So please dont dissapear...I will be back. But in the mean time if you would all like to see what Ive been up too you can find Creative Butterfly Designs on facebook and also I now had a storefront over at MADE IT. Introducing Creative Butterfly Designs

Hi everyone :D

Ive been a busy little bee, getting a little project of mine up and running. I have started a small handmade business called Creative Butterfly Designs. I started my own Facebook page on friday night and to my absolute surprise it took off really really well...something I actually wasn't prepared for. The response and support from everyone has been absolutely heart warming <3 I also have an etsy shop too...which I am yet to upload anything too...Facebook has consumed most of me at the moment. Ok so your probably wondering what am I selling?? Well as long as I can remember I've always wanted to have a little girl of my very own to dress up and share all things girlie with. Anyways the moment I found out I was pregnant I purchased a newborn headband for luck for a girl. Well it worked lol...The moment she arrived I whacked a headband on her...and from then on..I started buying heaps of them...Then I thought what the heck!! I'll start making some...well since then...I've had alot of comments and even sold a few from her very head....so that started the idea of starting my own little handmade shop. I wanted each and every headband to be pretty, classy, chic and stylish for little girls and for women too. After all...women love feeling pretty too...and if my headbands can make someone feel special and girlie, well then I would say my job is done. Hi lovelies :D Did you miss me?? teheheh. I know its been such a long time in between posts...But this past month and a bit has been one of the busiest ever!! My beautiful little Savannah-Rose turned 1!! My cousin got married...I had to plan a hens night and on top of all this we had about 12 family members come and stay with us. My gorgeous best friend/sis in law alyssa and my bro and my awesome nephews plus my auntie, uncle and cousins. Mind you all this happened in one weekend. So as you can imagine it was one crazy roller coaster..not much sleep had but tons of fun :D
So in saying all this I was meant to come back sooner...but other aspects in my life got complicated and needed urgent attention and love. Thank you mum, Jess and Alyssa for being there for me during that tough time.

So on another note..I am starting to feel much calmer and relaxed and slightly getting on my feet again, Unfortunately not one little bit of scrapping has been done. I have been focusing on something entirely different which I hope to get up and running soon...Hopefully will only be a week away until I can reveal. Thank you for the support from already some eager buyers :D Muchly appreciated.

Okie doke photo time lol..You all get to see why my time was occupied...Here are the pics from Savannah-Roses birthday..(Thank you lys for taking the photos for me :D)

As you can probably see...our little girl had a tea party theme...It truly was such a beautiful day. All the colours and decorations tied in nicely. For the party I made, tissue pom poms to hang from the net marque and tissue paper flowers for center pieces. I also sewed a banner but forgot to bring that out :( The party favours were baby jars decorated up with a cupcake inside...they were for the adults and the children all got tea kettle cookies. My mum also painted a signature board for everyone to write a msg to Savannah...Only they wrote msg's on printed tea cups and pinned them to board.(will take photo soon) My Beautiful friend helped me out alot and took most of the pressure of me by baking some cupcakes...they were just soooo cute and a massive hit and her bf cooked up 120 quiches...I don't even think I got to eat one :( they were gone too fast lol. But all in all it was a great day...Considering I got no sleep the night before due to kirsty's hens night lol. However the end of the day I did find myself waking up in my bed...LOL cant even remember how I got there. Apparently Jamie took me to bed I think lol.

The next day was the wedding of my beautiful cousin Kirsty marrying Blake. That was also such a magical day. Started bright an early with hair and makeup and wine...lol never had wine so early before. Thank you guys for allowing me to be apart of your special day. May the rest of your lives bring you much happiness, laughter and much much love. Cant wait to show some photos of their day. Congrats guys. xxx

Ok that's it..I think that post was way tooooooo long...Will gasbag some more another day. So if you made it this far you truly have done well. 1st day of Spring :D

Not only does the 1st of September mark the first day of spring, but also marks the first day I became a mum, On this very day my beautiful little man entered the world and looked up at me for the very first time at 3.32am, that was 3 years ago.. Today he turned 3, not so much a baby anymore but a boy...The last 3 years has come and gone so fast, and its all been absolutely brilliant!!! So HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY to our handsome little fella!! Mummy and Daddy and Savannah-Rose love you so so so much, we hope you had a great day yesterday with us and we Hope you liked all your presents especially your special red trike you got and the loads of clothes you received LOL :D Happy riding little mate. xxoxoxx

On another note...lately I have discovered I have an obsession with the old look of Polaroid cameras. An old Polaroid camera is now on my wish list and this other little hand held video camera gadget. Anyhoos I came across this Polaroid photo booth on the net the other night, its free and just a really quick fun easy way of taking awesome vintage looking photos..So the above photo is using the photo booth as well as the below photo. As you can see we've been having alot of fun with it lately :D

Again sorry I have no scrappin to show, but I've been super busy...Almost completed all the craft decorations for Savannah-Rose's Birthday party and will soon begin the bits and bobs for my cousins upcoming hens night. Everyone starts to arrive on Monday :D Can not wait. So this place with literally be a mad house for the next week or so. Anyhoos I better head of and start baking..I'm making cookies and a birthday cake for alex to take to kindy tomorrow :D Have a wonderful day...and thankgod the warmer weather is on the way..wahoooo xoxox

Whooly dooley. Ive been busy.

Sorry guys for not updatting in over 2 weeks. Ive been super busy these past couple of weeks. First of was the end of the Embellish it comp. I came third overall, So was completely wrapped to of even scored a place in the comp. Congrats to the winner Sue smith. Totally gorgeous work was done by all who entered and continued with the comp. Thanks to tan and everyone who ran the comp, I can only imagine how hard the judges job's were. Another positive out of the comp was that I was offered a DT position, but unfortunately with a heavy heart I had to turn it down. My family atm is more important, the comp honestly took alot of my time and my family missed me. So for now I want to dedicate my time to them. Anyhoos you may notice I wont be around much from here on in. I have a HUGE month ahead of me. First of my little man turns 3 on the 1st sept, I cant beleive my first little man is almost 3, where did the last 3 years go :( Second of is fathers day which I have something special planned for the important man in our lives and thirdly my baby girl turns the BIG 1 on the 9th sept. So I am in the midst of planning a beautiful tea party for her, so all my time and craftiness is going towards that atm. I will show you a sneak peak of what I've been creating. So her party is on the 11th sept. But on the 10th sept I have a hens night that I am hosting, then the day after Savannah-Rose's party the wedding takes place which I am bridesmaid for :D Also in this week we will be having at least 20 ppl staying with us including my bff Alyssa and the boys :D Cant wait to see them again. So on Monday the 13th I plan to put my feet up and have a huge icy cold glass of beer!!!!! But to top everything of atm, my whole family is sick with this crazy flu!!! Bring on summer!!!!
Wow that was a huge rant lol. Lastly I will leave you with 2 of my layouts and a card I created for Leanne over at Mad about scrap, she kindly asked me to be a Guest Designer for mad!! Was totally so excited and couldn't resist. Gotta love the gorgeous range she gave me, So I had a play with the Road Show collection from Fancy Pants. I'm not sure if she has any kits left but head of over to Mad's blog/forum to find out more.

Anyhoos thats about it for now. I have a few publications out atm. So sorry if theres not too much to look at on my blog. But hopefully I will be able to share my journey and lead up to Savannah-Rose's first birthday. I cant wait and I cant wait to see all my scrappy gf's again...its been a while. Take care guys.

Embellish it Week 8 :D Long post..Lots of photos.

Oooohhhh Its coming to an end...This was our 2nd last week in the comp..I am truly so happy to have made it this far....Not too sure if I'll make it through to the next round though...I did struggle alot with this challenge...One reason being that we had to create a mini album and personally I am not a mini album maker...For me I like to utilise all my OTP creations. So for this weeks challenge I decided to expand on the mini album criteria, instead I thought I would create a album/journal.
Anyhoos the criteria this week was massive!! First off we had to create a mini album, this album needed to include 2 fabric pages, as well as 3 other pages using different mixed media bases. All pages needed to include stitching, paint, ink, buttons and collage. Lastly within this album we had to include a different shaped acetate page. This page had to include pp and words and of course all the above criteria also. Here are my pics and a bit of info.

Front Cover- Made out of fabric, Lots of stitching on this. In between the fabric I actually have foam. In the middle I have painted with yellow and green. Cut out the huge rose from fabric. Adhered buttons. The big white and pink button binds my book closed by cotton. I then stitched this page onto the first inside page.

First inside page. Loads more stitching. I have also created a place to store my pens/pencils.

Second page- Base page is pp then I have awashed it with gesso for added dimension then painted over it with green. The words are all printed on Calico fabric then I have painted around my words. Collaged the page with flowers and buttons and lace, chipboard and sewing.

More close ups of the Album/Journal.

Page 3- Base is tissue paper glued with PVA then painted over with PVA with a touch of green. The words are again printed on calico fabric and painted around the edge. The roses in the corner are hand cut from fabric. Again loads of stitching. The next page is blank, ready for me to start my journaling.

Page 5- My acetate page. Which has been sewen onto page 6.

More close ups of the acetate Page. I really like the lace stitched around this page and yes I'm totally in love with the birdhouse and birds atm.

Page 6 above on the left is the page behind the acetate. I have made a collage of photos of myself and the kidlets and printed it on canvas paper. I wanted a clip, so I could continually change the photos as my family expands. Page 7- My base for this page is texture paste smeared all over cardstock, then I have given it a wash with green and pink paint. The words here are printed on canvas paper and I have made an envelope out of fabric to store little keepsakes.

Above is just a full view of 7 and 8

Page 9 and 10 - Page 10 base is a ripped up page from a book glued down with PVA. I have then let that dry and did the painting, You can barley see it, but there are clouds there too with machine stitching around that and page. I have also smeared again more paint on the paper and inked around the edges. After this was all dry and then painted over the entire page with gel medium so give it that glossy finish and to stop the ripped up parer from tearing in the future. Lastly added a bit of ric rac and buttons.

Last few pages, 11 and 12. Page 11's base is pp with paint, stitching and I attached this fabric pocket to store more bits and bobs and lastly adhered a LISA KAMPHIUS flower. Btw go and check out her blog, my awesome friend is selling some of her lovely handmade flowers :D

Lastly are some close ups and the very back of my album/Journal. I am now really happy with this piece :D At first I didn't like it due to the fact I had no idea what I was doing lol..I just went in and attacked this challenge blind. Embellish it Week 7 - Alter it.

One more week down 2 more to go hopefully...This weeks challenge was set by Nicky Amber. The criteria she set was to- Create your own patterned background, make and use at least 3 inches on your project, use a quote as part of your title, do not use alpha stickers on your project and lastly to create a handmade embellishment from fabric. So here is my take on the challenge.

So firstly I had to create my background. Its very simple but I think it looks effective. I used a fancy pants stamp, then I added more colour by adding paint to the Poland of the stamp flower. The butterflies you see are all made from off cuts of fabric as well as the rope and flower swirl. And oh my how Divine is the lace ribbon? My mum actually picked a whole bag of this up from an op shop..Couldn't of come at a better time :) Also lastly I have to give my mum a shout out as well for letting me use her word art as my title. You can find more of her awesome digital designs here. Below are just some close up views of the detail.

Anyhoos its raining and cold here today..and I have 2 cranky kidlets at the moment..sharing?? whats that word?? That's all they seem not to be doing atm and it always ends in tears.

Oh oh oh i forgot to tell you...my little girl is walking :D

Far out our little miss Savannah-Rose is an impatient little girl. She got tired of crawling and decided she would like to walk after her brother instead. She started walking officially 3 weeks ago in her 9th month. Honestly it doesn't look natural..she is still way too little. Apparently according to the doc she is underweight..but meh as far as I'm concerned she's progressing and her milestones are all normal, so I'm not worried. Anyhoos she recently turned 10 months old..not sure how much she weighs atm so will have to do my monthly check in with her yet. But she is a happy little girl most of the time..but recently has started this high pitch scream when she doesn't get what she wants :( hopefully this stops soon. Savannah is definitely has alot of personality, she pulls this funny little squinty face with her mouth wide open and her eyes tightly closed..way too cute and one thing she is definitely known for is a hair puller lol. But Just like her mama she loves food, eats everything and anything, thankfully not fussy for now lol. Still only has one little chompa down the bottom(teething atm though). Anyhoos thats a little bit about her this month. But here are some photos from last month of our little savylicious :D

I simply love that I captured this...Have tons more photos from this day that I will share with you all soon. Little man is wanting to go to bed. Night all xx

Embellish It Week 6 - Store it.

ahooo I made it through another round. Only 3 weeks to go :D Okie's this weeks challenge was set by Karen Calcutt and her criteria was to:
-Create a card compendium to give as a gift.

-It must be made from at least 2 PP's from the same paper range.
-They must include a couple of cards to show how it is used.
-I would like the card compendium to look nothing like mine. (since someone has already made one in last weeks challenge)

-We require you to create an embellishment by taking a store bought embellish such as the flower shown and altering it in some way.

Okies so those of you who know me or who have followed my work know that I am not a card maker at all!! So this challenge was definitely going to put me out of my comfort zone. So after stressing and worrying what on earth I was going to make I came across this tutorial on how to make this awesome box here. As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to make it..knowing it would definitely be something I could keep or give away as a gift in the future. So out of this tutorial this is what I created :D

Embellish it week 5 - Roll it.

Yay so happy I've made it through to the next round...Anyways this weeks challenge was set by Melinda Spinks... Melinda's challenge is to create a layout using the following criteria:

Layout to be any shape but square

Monochromatic Colour Scheme (With a hint of one other colour only!)

Paper Rolling or Quilling must be used on your layout!

Stamping to be used on your layout and be a prominant feature (not just a little stamp in the corner).

An embellishment to be made using acetate/transparency (you can also include any of the above criteria on your embellishment).

So with the criteria set..this is the layout I came up with...

Normally I would never do quilling on a layout..simply because I'm far too impatient, but now that I've tried it and seen the end result, I'm happy...So I think I will start using this technique more often :D The quilling on this layout is actually mounted on top of a stamped flourish image on acetate.

Lastly on the last image...I stamped over the cardstock I ahered to chipboard letters and also around the photo itself I handrew the flowers and coloured them in. I also never do odd shaped layouts by themselves so I'm thinking I may mount this layout to black cardstock now to go in the album.

Okie Doke thats all I have to show today...I have tons of ATC's to catch up on :( and soon I'll be taking a break from scrappin and atc's for a whole month as my little girl is turning 1 and I'm planning a high tea party for her...Ive been searching for months now for lots of different knick knacks for her party..without much luck :( I'm searching for vintage/shabby chic items, I thought the op shops might stock alot of this..but I was wrong :( If anyone knows anyone that is giving it away please let me know or email me..I just want to borrow things for the day. Also the night before her party I am planning a hens night too..LOL I think my stress levels will be hitting the roof that week. Wish me luck.

Embellish it - Week 4...and a sneak peak.

Yay I've made it to week 4 :D This weeks challenge set by Lisa K is of course vintage...The criteria she set was to make it vintage using lace and ribbon, use rubons and paint, include a distressing technique and lastly must be something for practical use. So This week I decided to stop procrastinating and finally pulled out this old beautiful little cabinet that I picked up from our local carboot sale a couple months back. This challenge was just the push I needed to create...So I turned this lovely cabinet into a jewellery box for Savannah-Rose. I know she's too little for jewellery just yet..but in the future hopefully it's something she can treasure.

Ok so I repainted the entire box then lightly sanded the edges to give it that distressed look...I also used Tim holtz crackle medium on the picket fence to age it a tad.

In the below pic I adhered the beautiful vintage key hole and key by Melissa Frances onto the box.

Below is a close up of all the detail inside the jewellery box. The paper on the back wall is of course the beautiful prima. Basic Grey Chipboard tree. In the bottom corner I cut from websters papers creating that flower embellishment, then within it I adhered some blossoms and flowers. Then I painted this old miniature furniture piece and made lace pillows for the top centering it with a brad and laced the edge of the chair. To finish it off the hooks needed to be screwed in and birdhouse needed to finish it off.

Below is an extreme close up of the chair and blossoms and flowers and also flower soft..First time using flower soft..but wow..its so pretty..I can definitely see myself buying some more :D

Embellish it Week 3 - Stitch it.

Wow week 3 already!! This comp is going really fast and the entries this week are all just amazing!! I just love seeing how every one interprets the challenge. Its just amazing how different everyone's LO's are.

Weeks 3 Challenge was to incorporate these 5 things in your LO...Hand stitching, felt, beads, bling/rhinestones and doodling. We were also asked to create our own embellishment using some of these things from the list or all of the above.

So pretty good criteria..and I just lovvvee hand stitching!! My inspiration for this weeks challenge was my daughters clothes she wore in the photo..

These are just my favourite clothes atm of hers...beautiful colours and so much detail.

Ok so from this I created this LO...Hope you like...

Below I recreated the Felt flower from her Jumper...Also you should be able to see the beads I hand sewed on as well and more stitching tehehe.

Next is a close up of the butterfly I recreated from Savannah's Jeans.. this embellishment took me the longest to do..but so worth it...

Lastly the journalling...This in particular means alot to me as its written from her daddy for her...Jamie asked me a couple of weeks ago "how come I only ever do layouts from my perspective and not his...lol so here it is baby I hope you love it as much as I do. BTW how beautiful are his words for his little girl :D Makes my heart skip a beat and sing!!

Embellish It - Week 2...and some ATC's

Here's my take on Weeks 2 Challenge. The criteria was to use cool colours, paint, some kind of title/lettering, a flower and lastly a hybrid element. Had again tons of fun creating this, here is my take on the challenge.

I painted the background using bubble wrap and the green paint was painted on using a toothbrush, then I smeared bits of the edge of the paper with the brush. Really like how this has turned out :D

Have Incorporated the Prima packaging on my layout, love how it looks on the layout. Also one of my hybrid elements is the journal spot at the bottom of the packaging.

Another hybrid embellishment is the journal spot underneath the I love you. More Prima packaging :D

My handmade flower is another hybrid embellishment...You cant see it too clearly but what I did was typed Mother and Son over and over again in word then ran some cotton fabric through my printer and whaa laa..I now have some journal fabric and out of that I created this flower and also the remaining fabric is behind the photo.

Lastly if you can kinda see I have incorporated some cork paper, Love this, I think its going to be a new favourite thing of mine hehe. Also I'm totally lovin the wire mesh atm too. A nice touch to anything I reckon.

Oh I do have some exciting news to share...Little Miss Savannah-Rose has just started attempting walking, she's little miss independent now..doesn't want us helping her, she thinks she can do it all on her own LOL. The most steps she's taken has been seven now..So I think she will be well and truly walking by 10 months :D Also she has her first tooth with the 2nd one on the way. Alex on the other hand has been sick this week, poor Little tyke, hopefully he's better by Friday for kindy. So here's to hoping for a healthy week for us and anyone else out there thats feeling under the weather.

1st Layout for the Embellishment Comp :D

Here's my first layout for Scrap N Craft with T's Embellishment Competition. The criteria for the layout is you must use paint, doodling, use 3 different patterned papers and also interesting ways to journal and title. You also had to make your own embellishment with its own criteria which was to include, paint, stitching and 3 colours. I hope you like my first take on this weeks challenge, really was alot of fun.

My interesting way of doing the title was I went into word..found the font I wanted to use..I then printed it on baking paper, glimmermisted the font and washed it over the font to take the edge of the ink. Lastly I coloured it in with water colours.

My handmade embellishment was the cupcake. I used gesso as the icing then painted it and added beads into it with a button and cherry on top. I also stitched on the wrapper as well as doodled. Does it look good enough to eat?

Well that's all the scrappyness I have to show you for today. Next time I will show you one of my latest ATC's I've created for a swap..Wild Wild West was the theme :D I'm also in the process of doing an apron themed ATC swap too, will soon be able to show that one as well.

I'm really in the scrappin mood lately due to the fact I have awesome scrappy friends and also on Saturday a few of the girlies and I headed to the Brissie scrap expo. Was so great to catch up with alot of online friends, shop the day away and be inspired. Thanks for a great day girls..luv yas all!! Hey bloggers/friends...
Wow what a week we've had in our household...It began last Saturday with a surprise visit from my Bro, Alyssa and my gorgeous nephews. Little cheeky buggers snuck in my room at 6am and surprised the heck outa me. Still half asleep and groggy from a hard night with the kids I jump outa bed and wrapped my arms around my bestie!! My week couldn't of started better. So we dressed and went garage saleing...had a coffee and planned a last minute scrap night. So all day I rounded up friends, prepared and cooked food with lys, then sat down and enjoyed a wicked night with my awesome buddies and scrapped and gasbaged the night away till 3am!! We had such a wicked week with lys and the boys, I definitely think the kidlets are going to miss each other, they had a brilliant week together...we truly got to see them interact with each other, was so funny seeing their little selves having conversations discussing toys etc. AHHH to be a kid again aye?? So they left today :( but I wasn't so sad this time because they will be back again in another 3 months for my cousins wedding :D
Also on Monday just gone my Fiance's parents arrived :D Alex was just so thrilled and excited to see them and has been gallivanting around with them all week too, giving me a much needed break. They are such great grandparents to the kids, they truly are lucky to be loved and spoilt by them...Our kids are truly blessed. They do pretty well to see them at least 3 times a year, not bad considering they live in wagga wagga. So its a huge 2 day trip for them but totally worth it. Hopefully soon we get to visit them. They leave on Tuesday, so its going to be very very quite soon. Then its time to get back to routine and structure LOL.

Anyhoos...Ok guys I'm terribly sorry but not much scrappin had by me in the past couple of days LOL, as you can see I have been heaps busy...My head is spinning with many ideas tho for upcoming layouts. So stay tuned. Until then here is a sneak peak for a Guest Design team spot over at Mad About Scrap. I was so thrilled and honored to have been asked my Leanne to do a couple of layouts. Hi Bloggers :D
I've been told I need to update more lol, so here goes....I actually do have alot of scrappin goodness to show you, but that'll have to wait for now, I am awaiting the glorious sunshine to make my photos brilliant :), its been raining here for the past couple of days.
Hope ya'all had a great weekend doing whatever it was that you were all doing. My weekend was terrific..Jamie calls me miss social butterfly now, poor thing I haven't spent the past 3 Saturday's with him as Ive always had something come up and sadly its really his only day off we can actually do anything together. Oh well i'll make it up to him, dinner date I think in 2 weeks, cant this Saturday as he's got work on. Anyhoos on Saturday night I did head of to my good friend Angie's house for a much needed scrap night with the girlies :( My poor mum's always wanted to come along to a scrap night, so I thought I would take her along with me to see what the fuss is about hehe. So along with mum and savylicious and a car full of scrap we made our way to Angie's. Usually when I go to a scrap night, I never actually scrap but gasbag the whole time, this time however I was actually productive and completed one layout...Wahooo, this has been a first for me lol. We had such a great night, with fabulous food thanks to ang and some scrumptious dessert courtesy of em and lots of goooooddd conversation and laughter :D Thanks Ang for being a great host and organising a wicked night, cant wait till June now for Dalena's Scrap night :D The layout I created I will hopefully be able to show you soon, it was actually a layout for a guest DT spot I was offered :D I'm really happy with the way it turned out, I got to play with Fancy Pants Roadshow collection :D
I also have a few ATC's to show you...and also need to get my ATC freak on, I have sooo many to catch up on.

Oh oh I do have this bit of excitement to show you, Its one of my Layouts I did last year while I was pregnant and its in this months Scrapbooking Memories mag...

This was actually my 2nd time published in the mag, not the first, so that's a little mistake plus the spelling of my name, but oh well, still really excited to see it in print.
On the family front we have all been really well. Alex had a great week.. On Thursday at his kindy the children were given the opportunity to bring their grandparents to kindy to show them around and to share morning tea with them. Was such a great day, he got to show nana around his kindy room, got to play many activities with nan and also got to paint with nan, and to everyones surprise we actually had 3 birthday parties on. So he got to stay and have a party as well. We were very full by the time we left and poor Alex didn't wanna leave. Savannah-Rose actually had alot of fun aswell, playing and eating and got to paint with nana also. Here are just some pics of nana with the kids.

Also I cant believe how quickly time is going...Savannah-Rose is almost 9 Months already!!! She is finally starting to get some wispy bits of hair, much to my delight :D She has begun to try and stand on her own and is constantly saying mum, bub and finally said dad for the first time last week...Still no teeth yet, but honestly I am not complaining as I'm still breastfeeding and I remember the first time Alexander bit me, OUCHIE MAMMA I tell ya!! I just wish time would slow down, we have already started to plan her very 1st Birthday party along with Alex's as well. Tis going to be a huge week, 2 birthday parties, a hens night which I am organising and a wedding with a heck of alot of visitors. WOW, please months go slow....hehe.

Well pop back tomorrow, hopefully the weather is great and I can show what I've been up to. Happy Minda.

Just a quick post today...kidlets are waiting for a bath and breakfast. LOL I definately have my priorities right...sorry babes. Yesterday I finally got some time to myself to finish of this layout, I'm really really proud of it, but let me tell you it wasnt always going to look this way, originally I was going with sassfrass papers, but it just wasnt working for me, it was too bright and colourful and I wanted this layout to have some sophistication to it. So instead bo bunny did the trick for me, but do not worry sassfrass I have plans for you.

This beautiful photos of my kidlets were taken by my best bud Alyssa Vollman Photography.

You prehaps can't see, but I glimmermisted the doiley, the journal tag, a flower and slightly the background.

You could say I went crazy with the misting.

How gorgeous are these flowers!!! The main middle gold one was handmade by Lisa K, all the other 5 flowers were handmade by me :D Alos the chipboard underneath the flowers were gesso'd, then painted gold then I used a crackle medium.

This butterfly has been laying around my house for about 5 years, It was just getting wrecked, so what better way to utilise it...scrap it. Looks much better on this layout then hanging from my candles on my dining room table.

For this Layout I used, Bo Bunny papers, Doiley, Fancy pants Stamp, Lisa K flower, Handmade flowers by me, mesh, ribbon, buttons, string, versa, white pan, journal tag and kaiser pearls and lastly glimmer mist (tattered angles).

A big belated Happy Mothers day to all you yummy mummies out there!!! I hope you all had an awesome day with your kidlets and your mums. My day was great, starting bright and early, I'm sure the kids would of let me sleep in if they had a choice, but nope mummy dragged them out of bed for the monthly car boot sale :D I did pick myself up some vintage goodies, a really gorgeous vintage frame that opens up to reveal another frame and also a really nice jewelery cabinet in which I plan to alter :D After that the kids and daddy took me to maccas for breakfast then we had a relaxing day lounging around at home watching dvd's and sleeping with a bit of scrap thrown into the day. I haven't finished the layout yet but I will leave you with this ATC card I made last week, it was for a closed private swap and the theme was something sweet. I used and printed out a stamping up stamp, I coloured the stamp in photoshop then printed the required amount. Once assembled I used beads to represent the candy then I used dimensional magic over the top of the beads a few times to make it appear as though the candy was in a glass bowl. I'm really pleased with the way this atc turned out.

On the scrappy front hopefully I'll be back with a layout tomorrow :D

Currently I'm in Rockhampton visting family and celebrating my uncle's 50th. Its a quick trip in and out :( wishing we could stay longer, but unfortunately the long weekends are just not long enough :(. A blog update at last...

Yes blog I still know your here and No I havent forgotton you...My head for the past couple of weeks just hasnt been in a creative mood until now...Yup since wednesday my mojo had returned from holidays with a little help from my lovin man :D For the past couple of weeks, Ive been pretty down, alot of things were just getting to me, I had all these ideas in my head but just couldnt get it out and creating, tis was very fustrating!! But guess what my awesome stud did???? He came home after work on wedensday and asked me to go out to the car and get his other bag, at first I was like oh ok, he still had a spare hand lol. So I pondered out to the car, opened the boot and lifted up his jacket and underneath was a brand new sewing machine :D OMG!!, He truly does know how to make a gal happy. But that wasnt the end of it, he also organised a years full of sewing lessons for me :D Then if that truly wasnt great enough I then went off to zumba, and danced my big heart out!! Next day I was a new women with new fresh ideas and finally was in the mood Wahoooo. Oh but wait my week got even better... on friday night I went out to bingo with mum and a couple of friends and won myself $200 smack a roons!!!! So thats my excitement for the week. On the family front not too good, both kidlets have the flu, Savannah has it really really bad, mummy's been having no sleep :( Alex has been sick for over a week now and cant seem to shake it and now poor daddy just woke up this morning with a splitting headache and runny nose arhhhh :( and knowing me, i'll prolly get sick next weekend when we are going away :( really hoping I dont :(. Oh some more exciting news, Savannah-Rose started crawling 2 weeks ago and is also sitting up and pulling her self up on things, she going great for 7 months old, but apparently according to the doctor her growth percentile is not where it should be. But to me she is fine, and progressing well. But anyhoos Life is good at the moment and here is my latest creation that I've done for the Kraft It Up Challenge blog (here). The criteria this month is a Monochromatic challenge and of course using Kraft. I used fabric on this layout and sewed it on giving a quilt kinda effect and handcut all my embellishments. I definately enjoyed this challenge. But huge thankyou to my man for releasing my mojo :D Hope you like :D

I scrapped finally :D

Happy sunday everyone :D Its a bright beautiful day here on the sunny Gold Coast today, Feeling a bit tired now tho due to the fact I was up bright and early looking for a bargain at our local carboot sale, I just cant resist, I have to go every month LOL, My df thinks I'm a mad women being up so early. But I did manage some awesome buys today and all up only spent $30.00 and got HEAPS!!!
But anyhoos I finally scrapped a layout, I went scrappin friday night with some gf's and I just couldnt get my head to focus on anything!! I was completely fustrated but towards the end of the night I finally decided what I was going to do :D Its very simple but I like it, I think the colours worked really well. Its for a friend of mine, so I really hope she likes it, she's been waiting forever for this layout lol.

I have something exciting happening on my blog real soon, so stay tuned :D Have a wonderful day guys xxxx

Happy Belated Easter :D

Happy Easter every bunny big and small :D I hope you all had a wonderful day full of lots of goodness and many hoppy memories :D Our Easter was very low key this year, non the less we still had an awesome time together. We got to spend 4 whole days with Jamie, this is and was a very rare occasion having him home, an occasion to celebrate in itself lol.
The long weekend began with Alex's Easter bonnet parade, First one ever. Together we had so much fun creating his hat. He was a very proud kid parading around in his mad hatter hat :D Easter Sunday began with an easter egg hunt, Alex and Savannah-Rose's first hunt, although at first alex had no idea, but once he got the hang of it he was having a blast.(Mind you he did wake up the next day, ran outside and started searching all over again, we had to explain to him it only happens on easter lol)So with Savannah-Rose hopping behind him they searced high and low and piled them up in the tonka truck. Then daddy took them inside while the Easter bunny laid a trail leading to their goodies. Alex got a new bike with training wheels and Savannah-Rose got some clothes :D After all a girl can never have too many clothes right? Then the remainder of the day, we were all chilaxing then headed off to the park for the arvo. Here are a few pics to share with you.

Again on the scrappin front I dont have much to share with you. At the moment I am finding it very difficult to take some time out to sit down and scrap. But I have done yet again a few ATC's for various different swaps. First one was a doodling swap(all hand drawn each card) Second was our free local swap here on the coast and third was a something new swap. Hopefully soon I i'll have some scrappin, I'm itching to get some layouts done.

Firstly let me say a huge sorry to you all and to my blog for not being here as often has I would of liked. Ive had one heck of a huge month, some good and some not so good :(
Let me share my exciting news first though, My very first publication is now out in SBM Vol 12,No 3. Absolutely over the moon atm, its my first one with this magazine and am happy to say I have a few more coming soon :D BTW sorry about the photo, its a little dodgy, but ya get the idea.

So lets begin the month that was...At the end of Febuary I went to my doctor complaining of chest pains. Ive been experiencing this since I was 15 years old, have always complained about it, but its only been now that someone has actually taken me seriously. Anyhoos, she wanted me to do a ECG and take my bloods, turns out my heart was beating too slow and she has found that my Serum Creatine Kenase levels are too high in my blood. These results were not what we were expecting at all, to be honest I thought they would just send me home like every other doctor has done. But she decided to send me to the heart specialist for a heart ultrasound and an eco test. After the test the specialist said that my heart is too big, the left side of my heart is enlarged and also there is something else showing up in the ultrasound that they cant really explain just yet. So Now on wenesday (my birthday) I am heading back to the specialist to get a heart monitor brace to wear for 24 hours, then I will go back to my doctor and then go off to the cardiologist to see what the next step will be. So thats the general gist of what kind of drama is unfolding in our lives atm. At the start I was very upsett and scared by it all, but then I realised I cant think the worse or get too upsett by it, because I myself dont fully understand what it is, so Until I know for sure I will just keep living my life the way I have been and try and be happy. Being unhappy gets me no where and just puts everyone else down around me. But thankyou to everyone, you know who you are for showing me your full support and being there for me when I needed you. My fiance has been my absolutel rock through all this, he knows exactly what to say and do to cheer me up, he also sent me off to My beautiful bestie/sis in law's house. So on the 6th of March we met up with alyssa and the boys at tottenham for a wedding then spent 10 glorious days with her, my bro and my 2 gorgeous nephews. Miss yas already!!!! Thankyou for such a wonderful holiday :D I have plenty of pics to show you, but I do think this post is way too long as it is. So if You've made it this far, you have done well ;)

Just A quick post today, Just wanted to share my exciting news with you all. Last Month thanks to Lisa K, I sent in some Layouts to an online magazine company - Scrapbook News and Reveiw and to my absolute suprise they want to publish all 3 I sent in :D Wahooo, anyways this mag was supposed to come out on sunday but the company have had a family issue that needs urgent attention, so we are told the mag may come out by the end of the month :D
Also my very recent layout-Photoshoot has been picked up for publication from Scrabooking Memories :D wahoo anouther happy dance. So thats my excitement hehe.

On anouther note I havent quite done the markets yet with my notebooks, I have a friend AKA Tanya who will also be joining me, so we have until april to get our things up and running, then we'll go down and see. But in the meantime head on over and check out her blog HERE, she is one quirky lady let me tell you. But I have done anouther 2 small notebooks, sorry bout the picture quality. But if anyone is interested in a notebook just drop me an email. Hopefully soon I will have other handmade items, just gotta pull my finger out lol.

One last thing, My little bubba Savannah-Rose Turned 5 Months not too long ago. Simply can not believe how quickly she's growing. A few little facts about her...
weighs just under 10kg, is in 000. Eats just about everything, has been on solids for a while now, mashed pumpkin, fruit jelly and banana are her absolute favourites. She is almost crawling, is now up on all 4 rocking. Refuses to sit though lol. She also giggles alot at her brother and also screams alot at him. She hates to be left alone for a split minute but loves to be left alone in peace and quite when she's sleeping. She absolutely loves her family as we love her. We can not imagine our lives without her now, it feels like she's been apart of our family forever. Anyhoos mama loves you baby girl xxx

The week that was...and some scrap :D

Hi peeps,
Wow what a week we have had in our household this week. Some good and some not so good :( On wenesday, we had a little drama, due to my stupidness. I put Savannah-Rose to sleep on my bed, and thought she'd be safe enough to leave peacefully on my bed. She was in a deep sleep so I thought nope she wont roll over this time, but just to be sure I stacked loads of pillows up beside her anyway. Well I was out of the room for just over 5 minutes when all of a sudden I heard this all mighty scream, ran in to find Savannah had done exactly what I hoped she wouldnt, she was lying on the floor on her stomach, I quickly picked her up and she seemed fine until I walked out of the room to check her over some more, as I was holding her against my forearm, the colour started to dissapear from her face, her eyes began to roll back in her head and she passed out. I quickly blew on her face and called her name and poked her and she came back to me, but again went back into unconsiousness, so again I did the exact same to bring her back to me while running to the phone to ring the ambulance. The whole time I was on the phone she kept going in and out of unconsiousness. The ambos arrived and we were taken to the hopsital where we remained for 4 hours observation, Thanfully she got the all clear, they think it might of just been the initial shock of falling from a deep sleep. So now as the saying goes "you gotta learn the hard way" and yup thats exactly whats happened, I just feel so terrible that something like this had to happen before I learned. So now I will no longer let her sleep on my bed unattended. So I just want to say a huge thanks to everyone that thinks I'm not a terrible mother even though I feel so horrible. Thanks lys for being there and comforting me.
Anyways on anouther note, I did some Scrappin :D I actually did 2 layouts in 1 day, so not like me, my average atm is 1 layout a week LOL. Never seem to find any time to do scrappin now a days. So these layouts are for nothing in particular but for me, my own pleasure. This year I have turned down some DT positions to just focus on my family and myself. I hope you like. The photoshoot layout, I had sooo much fun creating, and as you can probably tell I went sewing crazyyy!! Although I did have some cranky moments at the sewing machine lol.

Now this layout I am just in love with, I am totally in love with this range of paper atm, its the October Afternoon Farm fresh range, its all just so natural, just love it!! I also created my labour layout with this range too. And how cute are these pinwheels?? LOL you wont beleive this but Until last night I never actually knew how to make a pinwheel, how sad is that!! Hope you like :D

Also last week I have had a little bit of luck on my side, In one of my previous posts I mentioned about a blog candy over at scrapfarm, well to my suprise my name was picked out, wahooo :D So can not wait to receive that in the post :D Also over at Born2create this month we participated in a Valentines Swap. So everyone had to make a card and Chris W would pick her favourite, then whoever won would be sent a Valentines ATC from the rest of the particapants. I am just so appreciative, because my ATC was picked, so now everyday I am receiving beautiful ATC's from all the talented ladies from Born2create. Thanks Chris W for picking me, thankyou also to the girls for participating, was seriously alot of fun. Anyhoos I will put a pic Up of the terrific cards when I receive them all :D

New Venture for me :D

Hey guys,
A few of my friends aswell as my mum have suggested I start my own little market by making a few things. At first I was really hesitant, but thought what the heck, the worse that could happen is they wont sell, LOL. At least then I can say yup well I lived and learned from that experience. So i'm only going to start small and let my venture lead me wherever it may. So here are a few pics of what I will be beginning with, what do you think? I have a few more ideas of other projects, but we'll see. Ive already sold 2 pre order journals to a friend so I guess thats a good indication. Arhh sorry for my rambling, just a tad bit nervous about it all. The first 3 Journals are $12~ and the last pic is a small notebook for $5~. Im actually doing a carboot sale on sunday to get rid of a few household items, so I might try them down there just to begin with then move onto the market.

Anyhoos, I have also just completed my next lot of ATC cards for the local swap here and also One of these ATC's will be for a winner in a Valentines ATC swap on Born2Create. It might be a little hard to see, but I have added Journal paper onto Cardboard, then have run it through the cuttlebug then Glimmermisted and inked. Pebbles is also raised up so it looks as if Bam Bam is looking up and across at her. I just love this image, its too cute :D

Today was supposed to be my quite girl day with just Savannah-Rose and mummy as Alex has kindy on a friday, but unfortunately alex is really sick with some kinda bug, I had it last week too, so I know exactly how he's feeling the poor little fella. Its not nice and it completely knocks you around. But I think its knocked him around a little bit differently, he has been a bit outa hand today so far, and its still only early :( Oh dear. Hopefully he all good on the weekend. Anyways while I was up last night I decided to do some scrappin and here is my end product. Hope you like :D

Ok first of all I dont mean to gloat but my beautiful man has spoilt me, I am on top of the world right now :D On sunday he took me down to Harvey Norman and told me to pick a camera, wahhoooo. Tell ya what, I was like a little kid in a candy store, my heart was racing so fast and you just couldnt wipe the smile from my face. Anyways I chose A Nikon D5000 twin lens, So as you can imagine I have been happy snapping until my hearts content, but now I have the not so fun job ahead of me of learning my new baby. Here's a pic :D

How has the year been treating you all so far?? Mine has been good I suppose, apart from having this annoying flu. The start of my year has involved alot of reflecting back on 2009 and how I can make 2010 a whole lot better personally, of how I can improve myself and try and find my true self. This year I will try to be a better friend, I will play with my kidlets more, find the time mainly for them and show how much love I truly have for Jamie. I want this year to be about my family and friends, actually I think I want every year like this LOL.

Hi lovelies :D
Happy New Year to you all, I hope you all had a wonderful finish to 2010. Our new years this eve was pretty low key, just at home with the good ol' bbq and family :D
Well 2010 already, this year is going to be big change for me I think, I have alot of plans for myself this year, One of them being to focus on more scrappin for myself and of my family, Hopefully I can adhere to that LOL, I'm just too addicted to ATC's atm, its honestly doing my head in. Also alot of other personal goals!
Anyways I am definately looking forward to this year with my family and friends, its going to be one heck of a year I think.

Anyways I actually have some scrapping to show you :D The first project was for the new challenge over at SCNC site. This month my challenge was The colour challenge. I truly had alot of fun coming up with this colour combo :D Hope you Like. The next project I created a Journal for my secret santa swap hosted over at Scrap Chat, thankfully the recipient loved it :D This little project has started a small buisness venture for me :D

Welcome to the world Mason Kale Duffill :D

This morning my gorgeous best friend/sis in law aka Alyssa, Robert and Jayden welcomed a little gorgeous boy by the name of Mason Kale Duffill. He is just perfect in every single way. He weighed in at 4.3kg and 53cm's long. All morning I had been sitting around waiting for my call and the pictures, then it got to 8am my time and I still had not had the call, arhhh anxious I tell you, I kept ringing every half hour from then on. Finally I get a Picture then mum rings me straight away with all the details, I was in tears, Due to my happiness and my sadness that I couldnt be there with her. In our first pregnancies we were right there with eachother waiting, this time she just too far away :( No fair I tell ya!! But here is a pic of the handsome little fella :D So proud of you alyssa and rob and jay. Lots of Love. Have a great day peoples! xxx

A layout and The atc swap :D

I know, I know I said pop back the next day and there will be more, but truth is I got really busy friday shopping, then over the weekend we havent had any good light to take the photos. But I did manage to catch an ok photo of this layout. I did this layout as a commission piece for a Lady at my Mums work, Thankfully she loved it. They are giving it to their grandma as a chrissy gift. Also I did this layout as a challenge on SCNC, its a challenge I host and each week you need to create a layout using left over scrap stuff only, just to minimise the left overs you have.

Wow my poor little blog has been so neglected this month!! Yup its the silly season, This month is going to be huge!! In 7 days time I will become Auntie Lyn to anouther little boy Mason Duffill :D Im so so so excited and so sad too due to the fact I wont be able to see our new addition straight away :( But lys know that I am thinking of you, missing you and loving you!!

Also I am a CT Designer on the new forum Scrap,Chat'n'Challenge. This month I have set a Sketch Challenge, first ever sketch I've designed and I'm really happy with it. This week I have been creating like mad!! She was also celebrating her 10,000 post and just for leaving a comment you were also in the draw to win a RAK from her, and omg I just couldnt beleive it my name was picked :D So this week she sent me her awesome pack, let me just say I was completely blown away by her generosity, Thankyou so much Carol, you truly made my week when the postie dropped this off to me :D

I am extremely wrapped and over the moon atm! My layout I created a couple of months ago especially for Scrapbook Creations hit the shelves yesterday. Its in the latest issue 72, in the Reality Bites section. I'm just so excited because its all about pregnancy, and I just feel really privlidged and happy because Jenni O'connor approached me and asked me to create a layout based around my pregnancy :D Its just means alot to me because its first time ever i've been published and also a awesome special keepsake for Savannah-Rose :D Unfortunately though, they published the name wrong, instead of just Belynda Duffill they added a -Rae on the end of it, used to be apart of my name along time ago due to my mum remarrying a horrible man that is now thankfully out of our lives. So silly me didnt realise a couple of months ago that my hotmail account had rae attached to the end of my name. All changed now though :D Thankfully someone invented white out LOL. But anyways here is a pic of my work hehe.

Oh guess what my little man started his first day of kindy today :( Very excited for him but very scared at the same time, this is a massive milestone one which means my little dude is growing way too fast. But this is what he needs, to laugh, learn and play with others his own age and plus give mummy a much needed break. We've been trying for over 6 months now to get him in and after trying at 15 different kindy's we finally found one that had a vacancy and its one wicked kindy :D Of course mummy had to snap some photos of his first day :D

Where does the time go??? Can you beleive Savannah-Rose is already 8 weeks old!! The poor little chooken had her needles yesterday, they jabbed her while she was asleep so seriously was not a nice way to wake up. But she was good, cried for a little while and then fell back to sleep :) But already miss savannah has one heck of a personality on her, we can already tell shes gunna be a fun lovin chick!! She giggles and laughs at us already and always has a story on hand for anyone that'll listen. Alex and missy moo are becoming the best of friends now, we cant go anywhere without alex saying sisser Rose coming? He cant say savannah yet so he instead says sisser rose or bubba rose, so super cute. Anyhoos here is a pic of our little girl :D Oh also picked up our portrait photos yesterday, very impressed and happy with the results :D

If you've read this far, you've done well LOL, that was a huge post, have heaps more to show aswell, but I think that'll do for now. Will post in couple of days all the ATC's I've done for various swaps. And hopefully get some scrapping done Oh and thankyou Diana, Lisa K and Sarah for giving me those awesome blog awards, I will post and pass on anouther day when post isnt so big lol :D

Hi guys,
Well yesterday I decided to put all Atc swaps on hold so I could focus on doing some scrappin on Savannah-Rose. Its the first page i've done since she's been born and omg how fun is it scrappin girl pages, very different from my usual!! I just love the way this has turned out, its also got a shabby feel to it. I got a little inspiration from a challenge blog shabbychic Butterflies and Bows. They had a picture attatched to draw some inspiration from. I just simply had alot of fun creating this layout of my litle girl :D

Oh and here is an ATC I created for YSB, The group swap theme of course was Halloween, I thought I'd do something a little freaky for this swap, the gates actually open to reveal the grim reaper waiting.eeekkkk, totally not like me. LOl but was a fun swap.

Hi lovelies :D
Wow can I just say first, that omg it feels great to finally sit down and do some scrappin, It was the Relaxation I just needed, sent me to bed happy last night without laying awake thinking of the layouts I wanna do LOL sad hey. Anyhoo's this is a layout I started the night before I went into labour. Its a layout of my son and my beautiful nephew Jayden(alyssa's son), really happy with the way its turned out, although I always think that my handwriting ruins it, does anybody else feel like this sometimes??

Oh and here are a few ATC'S I have created for various swaps over the past couple of weeks. The first one was for my local swap here one the coast, the theme was things with wings. The fairy jar I have actually dipped it into bees wax to give the jar that glassy look and old feel to it.

Next two ATC'S were for a swap over at Young Scrap birds, August theme was butterflies, for this I printed some bright colourful butterflies on transparancy paper and stuck it between glossy paper which I cut a square out of the middle and alcohol inked the edges in various colours. This photo really doesnt do it justice. The last one was for our september swap, theme was spring, if you havent guessed already thats my partner and I holding our new bundle, The background is actually a photo of the flowers Jamie gave me.

Okies well thats it from me for now, I will also be scrappin again today, as I wanna create a layout for Born to Create, love the challenge :D

Oh and yes I promised ATC photos, but truth is I have forgotton to take the pics, so will get onto that really soon, just been super busy with our new addition and with Alex, yesterday we had a really rough day, alex and I, Alot of tears had by mummy and alex, he was just soooo angry yesterday, screaming at me and lashing out at Savannah-Rose :( , I had to go to spotlight yesterday to get a few things but ended up walking outa there in tears, put everything back, so hopefully I will get down there on saturday when Jamie home from work to mind alex for me. I'm the parent for goodness sake and I just seem to be crumbling, I need to pull myself together! But i know things will get better as the weeks go on, well I hope LOL.
But thankfully we had a really good day today, he's been a little angel. I guess yesterday was just one of those days :( But on anouther note, Savannah-Rose turned 6 weeks yesterday, where have those weeks gone, I cant beleive how quick is going. She already smiling and beleive it or not, she had her first giggle last week and also ate a whole arroroot biscuit. SLOW DOWN BABY GIRL!! TFL

Wow its so been so busy here this past month, new baby, week in hospital, lots of visitors, jamie's parents, my sis alyssa and my nephew and my auntie and her family, The last lot of our visitors left last week, so been very hectic and now I'm just trying to find a balance and routine for myself, alex and savannah-rose, I knew having 2 kids 2 years apart wouldnt be easy but I didnt think it would be that hard, but honestly it is, but I know once we have sorted ourselves out we'll be right :D But anyhoos here are a few picutres of my gorgeous family, i'm so in love with them all. Oh and last week we got some professional photos done of the kids, so happy with them and simply can not wait to receive them :D

Okies well thats the little update for now, but tomorro or on monday I will post some ATC cards i've made for varius swaps, thats all the scrappin I done since being outa hospital, but stay tuned there will be some beautiful girlie layouts coming up :D finally get to make girlie things hehe. HELLO BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!!!
Last week on the 09-09-09 I gave birth to our gorgeous little angel Savannah-Rose, she was born at 2.54pm weighing in at 7.4 pound, length 50cm and head circumfrence 34cms. She is just perfect in every little way, and daddy is absolutely smitten with her as is all the family. Through my whole pregnancy alex kept saying that in my tummy was a baby sister and he was right, guess toddler knows best LOL. Alex however didnt take to her at all at first but is now coming around on his own. He has been the bestest big brother, giving her kisses, bathing her, and even finally cuddling her, but still wont nurse her, but all in good time!

BIRTH STORY
On the 09-09-09, df had taken the day off work as we had an antenatel appointment at the hospital and plus I needed help with alex, as last time at the hospital he was an extreme handful. So in the morning we all woke at 8pm to get ready for our 11am appointment, this appointment at the hospital was going to determine the date in which i would be induced. Anyways when I woke I noticed small nibbly pains, didnt think anything of it as I had expereinced this pains throughout my pregnancy, so just naturally thought it was my body getting ready, but by 9.30 i noticed they were coming every 20 minutes so we decided to time them. So 10.30 rolls around and its time to make our way to hospital, on our drive the pains were coming every 10 minutes, so i started thinking mayby this is the real deal. Now its almost 11am, I tell reception that I think I mayby in labour as contractions were 10 mins apart, they look at me and tell me to wait they need to quickly get a midwife to look at me. So 5 mins later my names called out and i'm directed to a room, in comes the doc and midwife, they do the usual routine check then tell me to hop on bed they need to conduct an internal, so up I get and to my suprise I was 4cm's dialated, so they do a stretch and sweep and tell me that i'll be having this baby within 24-48hours, whoo hooooo This babies on the way, df and i couldnt be more excited and scared at the same time. Anyways the doc tells me to go home, rest and have a panadol. Yay, so on the way home I ring my mum, tell her whats going on. She is absolutely so excited, tells work she is leaving and said she'll meet me at home. Anyways we get home, the pains are getting stronger by 12pm, so from 12pm-12.30ish we run around like headless chooks at home packing my labour bag, alex's overnight bag, put the baby car seat back in car, sit down have a drink and some lunch, cant go into labour on empty stomach LOL. Gets to about 12.30 I tell df I think we better go now as contractions were only 4 mins apart and plus we had to drop alex off to Rachels house to be minded and teh whole round trip is about 1 hour. On the way to rach's house the pain is getting extremly bad, but still managable, did plan on having a cuppa at rach's house but decided i better get to hopsital. Pains were getting way worse on teh way from rach's house to hospital, our destination is about 25mins away depending on traffic. The pains were still coming at every 3-4mins, so the trip was super long and painful, poor df he was a tropper getting me to hospital, felt like I was going to have this baby on side of road lol, thankfully we didnt. Finally get to hospital bout 1.30pm, they take me into the labour room, check me out and i'm 6cms dilated. The midwife tells me all thats keeping this baby in is the membraines, tells me that if my waters hasnt broken in an hour she'll break them for me, but first she wanted to see if My waters would break on there own. So off the bed i got and walked around, bounced on teh ball etc, but I was most comfy on the bed, so after about 45 mins i get back on the bed. At about 2.45pm midwife decides to break my water, at this moment i was so scared and anticipating the arrival, just wanted the pain to stop lol. So she breaks my waters (OMG ALOT OF WATER MIND YOU) then she just tells me to relax and listen to my body and push when i needed to push, after a few pushes and 6 minutes later, midwife tells me to grab baby, so I look down and see my babies head and pull her out and up onto my chest. My Beautiful little girl was finally here, we so wanted a girl so we couldnt be more happier!!! So all in all we had roughly a 4 hour labour and a precious little bundle to call our own.
We were discharged from hospital the next day, but unfortunately this was short lived as we were then readmitted back into hosptial teh following day as our baby girl had stopped breathing. Was extremely scary for us as we experienced this with alex and we didnt want to have to go through this again. But not only did savannah do this once but many times through out the day, everytime she would latch on for a feed, she would stop breathing and turn blue. It was like she was getting so excited and sucking, sucking and sucking and forgetting to breath. Anyways we were in hospital all week, she had many tests on her heart, stomach, throat and head. All these tests came back normal. We had to remain in the special care nursery for the remainder of the week so she could finish her dose of antibiotics, then they wanted to watch her for 48 hours after that to make sure she was well enough to go home, anyways in the last few days of her stay she seemed to have corrected the problem herself as she has not and still has not had a breathing spell. Personally i think she was just trying to figure out how to suck and breath at the same time, just trying to figure out her body. We were finally released on thursday and honestly it was the best feeling in the world to take our little girl home for good!! The whole week was extremely hard full of tears, was the longest i've ever been away from my son and was also my df's holidays(he never gets holidays), so the whole of his holidays were spent driving back and forth from the hospital and taking care of alex! Definately wasnt what we planned, thankfully my sister in law alyssa decided to come and help out, she absolutely was a god send and so was my mum in helping take care of my boys. Unfortunately it wasnt what she planned for either, we all planned to enjoy an eventful weekend with our new bub, but these things happen and I never wish this on anyone, its just horrible. Anyways this has been a HUGE POST, so i would lastly like to thank everyone who was thinking of us and who sent their congrats to us and also to everyone that helped us during this time. Hi wonderful people :)
Here is a layout I have finally redone, I first did it a couple of months ago and shoved it away in the cupboard because I wasnt happy with it, well the other day I stumbled across it and thought what the heck lets just pull it apart and redo it, Now i'm extremely happy with the way its turned out. What a grubstar I have LOL.

Next is an ATC card I made for a private swap with one of the challenge chicks, and a few others that we know. Unfortunately we missed out on the group swap on the forum, so with one of the girls who also missed out on it, we did our own swap. The theme was shabby chic, such a gorgeous theme. Heres my take on it.

Well guys thats it from me today, I did have some more to show you, but as I was taking the photos the sun decided to dissapear on me. Now its gone extremely overcast, so I will post again when I have some sun :D Today I'm just going to try and get anouther layout in while I wait for bub to make an appearance. We have our antinatel appointment on wenesday at the hospital, thats where they'll then decide what we are going to do, I have a feeling I will be induced again :( But am desperately hoping bub arrives before then. A big happy fathers day to all the daddy's out there!! This was my df 3rd Fathers day with little alex, he got spoilt rotten this year which felt really good, as he was a little neglected last year. But anyways we had a great day at the beach and park. However I was truly hoping to give df anouther baby for fathers day, we are due today. I really thought this would happen due to pains all wkend, but this morning I woke up to nothing :( :( a little dissapointing, but oh well I just guess the baby is extremely comfy in there, glad one of us is lol.

First day of spring!! and my little man turns 2!! I cant beleive my sweet little boy is celebrating his birthday today. It was 2 years ago at 6am on this day that my DF and I were sitting in the maternity ward eating Hotcakes and staring in awe at our new little bundle of joy!! Now I sit and wonder where did those 2 years go, everyone said that your time will fly by once you have children, but I didnt beleive it until now. Well baby boy, not so much a baby anymore but our little toddler, mummy and daddy love you so much and we wish you much much happiness and special dreams on this very magical day! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHEEKY MONKEY!!

Just an ATC, Update on bubby and an Online baby shower :D

Hope the start to our weekend has been great in some way for you all. Apparently its going to be a scorcher here on the gold coast, with temps supposed to climb into the 30's over the weekend and we're still in winter omg, just imagine what summers going to be like. arhh.
Well the other day I went to antenatal clinic for checkup as bub is apparently measuring too small. So they accessed us and asked us to come back the next day for an ultrasound to determine how big roughly bubba is. We had this size issue with alex aswell, but this time I knew that bub would be bigger then alex. So anyways we go back for our ultrasound, bub is perfect in every little way weighing approx 6 pound atm with 2 weeks to go :D, next we had to go to the labour ward so the doctors there could assess us and determine if baby should remain cooking or bring baby out. Thankfully I am allowed to hold onto our oompa loompa till he/she is ready to make their entrance into the world :D! Now we play the waiting game, and omg I am so excited, the fact of not knowing when bub wants to arrive is exciting. I havent even packed my hospital bags yet lol, so I better hurry up and get onto that, everyone atm is nagging me to do it and knowing me i'll be running around the last minute when labour starts packing my bags LOL. Anyhoos so all is good in baby land :D

Yay I got something to show you all aswell, I made this ATC card for our local free swap. I collaged the background then glimmer misted it with cherry red, looks really effective. Unfortunately the camera doesnt show this. Then I built the little angel doll with feathers as leaves and added journaling. Hope you like :D

Lastly I would also again like to thank the beautiful SCRAPCHAT GIRLS for throwing me an online baby shower last night. I totally enjoyed myself and was spoilt rotten by these fabulous ladies, all week parcels have been arriving to my door and last night I finally got to open them all, each gift was so special. This is my first ever attempt at doing my own sketch, Ive done the layout which will be turned into a sketch in the next couple of days, it will be one of the challenges held over at our first ever cyber crop for the young Scrap Birds. The only requirement that rach wanted was I had to include a bird, At first was really hard but i think in the end it worked out very nicely. Hi guys, thought I would let you know that the birds are having their first ever cyber crop. The fun will go for 4 days full of lots of games, challenges and of course great company. So come on over and check us out :D
Also so sorry but there isnt any scrappin to show you as of late, But I did make an atc card for our local live swap, so I'll take a photo and show you tomorro:) but am also hoping to do a layout today so stay tuned for that one lol.
In other news, we will have our new addition to the family is 3 weeks or less :D We are so very excited and cant beleive how fast its all gone! So we are off to see the docs at the hospital on wenesday to determine what is going on with little oompa loompa, as you see bub has stopped growing again.(Alexander did the same thing. But I have tried to get in to see my gp today due to alot of pain ive been having lately, and massive headaches and really sore chest, unfortunately I cant see her until tomorro, so am truly hoping the pain isnt bad today again! Its absolutely knocking me out. Anyhoos thats all thats going on in my daily happenings, but I hope all you wonderful bloggers are having a great start to the week. Much love to you all.

Hello lovelies :D
I cant beleive my luck, after having such a hectic and tiresom day yesterday I came home sat at the computer with a cuppa, scanned my emails and oh my goodness, SBM wants 2 of my layouts! Let me tell you poor little bubba was getting thrown around in tummy while mummy was doing the happy dance with little alex laughing at me :D The layouts will be Love Continues to Grow, and If you fall I will catch you. Will let you know when they come out :D

On anouther note, went for my 36 week check up yesterday and we are having the same dramas as we had with alex, this baby is measuring 2 weeks under, alex only measured a week under. So doc is sending me off to hospital next week for a talk with the docs at hospital and also we get to have anouther ultrasound! So thats a bonus, but i'm not too worried as alex turned out fine at 6.4 pound 1 day over 40 wks. Mayby I just meant to have small babies, considering jamie not big and neither am I. So we'll see. :D

Lastly here is an ATC I did for the swap at young scrap birds. The theme was birds. TFL, i hope you like and also I hope you are all having a FAB week!! xo

Wholly dooley, I cant beleive I've sat there and created anouther layout. Poor little baby being all cramped up while I scrap, I tell ya I dont know how much more scrappin I can do, lately I am becoming extremly uncomftorbal and very sore. Everyone keeps telling me to take it easy now due to me being at the end of my pregnancy but It feels like theres not enough hours in the day, constantly have something to do and plus how do you relax when you have a very active toddler running around. Speaking of alex, we finally got him enrolled into kindy, YAYA, but we have to wait until he turns 2, which is in 4 weeks :D My baby's growing :(
Anyhoo gals, Here is my layout, which is also a layout a did for my mum to say thankyou for a wonderful baby shower and also it fits in with the theme for scrap the girls, so will be sending it there too :D Hope ya'all like!! Take care chookens :D xo

Hi guys, just a quick post today. Extremely exhausted still after yesterday, had an awesome baby shower!! Thankyou to everyone that came, it really made my day, love yas all! The baby to be got spoilt rotten as well as alex, alot of people also bought gifts for him which was extremley nice and not expected, alex loved his little gifts,thankyou. A HUGE THANKYOU to my beautiful mum, for organising the day!! Alot of work went into the day, at least 2 weeks worth for a 3 hour baby shower. My mum made these awesome baby books with the help of rach, full of games for all the guests and an itinerary for the day, she was a wonderful host and I just simply Love my mum to bits, she's a really special part in my life and honestly dont know what I would do without her.LOVE YOU MUM XO. Also a thankyou to My Auntie penny for cooking all the food, you know how much i love your cooking!! and for also making the journey from rockhampton to the gold coast to celebrate in my special day :D Thankyou also to rach for all her help before the day and also on the day, you were like my little wingman LOL. Okies on unfortunately i didnt get too many photos, caught too caught up in the day, just waiting of some photos from some friends cameras, so once i receive them i will post some piccies up here :D Oh and lastly thankyou to all my bloggers that left me wishes for the baby shower.

Hi sweet bloggers :D
My poor little blog has been a little neglected lately due to the fact I havent really had anything to show you until now :)
First of all I finally did some scrappin, was seriously what I needed, was very relaxing and feels like some more weight has been lifted. Ok well I created this layout for young scrap birds, the challenge was black, white and green and must include an animal. So here is my take on the challenge. Hope you like.

Next I participated in an ATC swap over at the challenge chicks, this months theme was music, so this is my take on the theme. Cant wait to receive all the cards from the swap:D, I actually had alot of fun doing this.

Okie doke so thats it on the scrappin front for now, but plenty more to come :)
But guess what??? Can you beleive I am 33 weeks pregnant!! Yup thats right only 7 weeks to go!!! Whoo hoooo, we simply can not wait to finally meet this little bubba and hold her or he in our arms!! The thought of labour is freaking me out a little this time round as I know what to expect, but on the other hand at least I know I can do it, haha well I dont really have a choice LOL. As of late, sarah, tan mum and rachel have been busy planning the upcoming baby shower which is on next weekend. Mum and Rachel were busy all weekend planning and putting together this awesome baby book full of games etc, will show you pics next week, they did an awesome job and I just feel really lucky and am very appreciative to everyone thats organised this event. THANKYOU SO MUCH, cant wait. Unfortunately i can not share this special event with a close friend due to distance, but just know that you and family and bub on the way also are in my thoughts :D and your turn is fast approaching hehe.
Anyways Df took our 33 week pregnancy photo on sunday, we went down to the beach and took some photos. Take care chookens, and thankyou so much for looking and taking time to read my super long post lol.XOXO

Hi beautiful people :DThis whole week Jamie and I and alex have been doing his big boys room, its just about finished, I just need to sew a valance and its all done :D But as a pressie for alex and his accomplishments I wanted to do this train up for his room, he just loves transport and now he is so in love with this train. I'm really happy with the way it turned out :D
On other news, our little oompa loompa is kicking like crazy, keeps sticking its foot out my belly button, lol mum actually saw the baby's foot and felt it through my belly button today, but let me tell you its a very ouchy feeling being kicked there :(
Anyways guys I hope you all have a eventful and safe weekend, for us we looking forward to carboot sale on sunday woot woot, bargains here I come :D

Still not much scrappin this end, just a few ATC cards I needed to make for the monthly swap at cupboard, the theme was vintage fashion and our social live swap, the live swap was super fun, we all went to westfeild and did a swap there whilst eating maccas yummy. Anyways here are the cards.

Hi guys, sorry its been ages since I posted something, as of late I have been extremely busy creating a Layout for publication. So very happy as I have now finished it and am now waiting for some sunlight to take a decent photo, but sorry can not show you, you will have to wait :D
Apart from that I havent been doing much scrappin lately apart from atc cards which I will also post up here soon :) Reason for not much scrappin is mainly due to our fast growing oompa loompa, I cant seem to sit for too long now a days without getting a few massive kicks in the ribs, ouchies, oh btw I am now 30 weeks pregnant!!! Yay 10 weeks to go, bring it on!
Also Alex has been extremely sick again, was back in hospital the other night getting checked out, but in the end we ended up taking him home for some good decent rest and nice hot bath, i think that did the trick :) Its now 10am here and he still asleep, poor little fella.
Tonite I am also very excited as we are going to look for a bedroom set for alex's new room, outa the baby room he goes into a big boys bed :) and we are also getting out our baby layby, cant wait, super dooper excited.
Anyhoos thats about it from me today, just thought I would leave you with a funny little pic of my boy cleaning up his mess, yes he found the eggs. hehe.

Hi guys,
Sorry I havent posted in over a week, been super busy, had a suprise visit from my sister in law/friend alyssa and also to tell you the truth scrappin mojo went out the window for a little while. But thankfully I found my mojo after going to the Brisbane scrapbooking expo, was so much fun, went along with sarah, rach and shaz and met up with alot of others that I have become to know through various forums. Was so great to meet susan and catch up with elle again :)
Although by the end of the day we were all super tired and my feet were absolutely aching!!! and I also think little oompa loompa in tum was completely over me walking, considering day before my little family went to the wintersun expo too, absolutely love this era, alex really enjoyed looking at all the cars, poor jamie had to close my mouth a couple of times LOL. Everything was eye candy to me hehe.
Anyways today I completed a layout for the White with One challenge, dominent colour being white, colour being red and using brackets, hmm I hope they do interperate them as brackets, if not will have to add some on.

Wow what a Fabulous weekend I have had so far. Firstly it started of on friday with a full on scrappy day at lisa's house, got to meet so many wonderful talented ladies from around many forums, the day went extremly quick and the kidlets were absolutely well behaved :D Rach did lots of stamping and I actually did a layout, a first for me, considering I only ever seem to gasbag, Thanks lisa for a wonderful day, cant wait for the next one. Then that night took rach and izzy home and stayed at their place for tea, yummy tachos, they spoil us that bunch lol.
Then saturday it was the usual, house cleaning etc. But the highlight of saturday was coffee and cake in arvo for mums birthday and again going out with rach, izzy and aaron for tea at hogz breath followed by coffee and dessert at McCafe, together we all had an absolute blast especially the kiddies :D
Today Df has just gone off for his reshoot for his firearms licence, then when he gets back we may go for a drive to coolangatta to have a look a wintersun or go to the park and relax, my type of sunday. YAY.
Anyways I guess i better show you what I actually did this weekend LOL. I am really proud of both layouts :) so 2 more down and plenty more to do before bub arrives hehe.

hi everyone :)
Yesterday Afternoon Alex and I went to see bubba in mamas tummy, Unfortunately Df couldnt make it :( due to work, but at least in 14 weeks almost he will see and be able to hold his little baby for real :)
Our ultrasound yesterday was absolutely fantastic!!! We were in there for almost an hour looking at baby, I scored lucky as the sonographer was teaching a student. We got to see so much, the hand opening and shutting, we were even able to count all the fingers, Our little oompa loompa was even cheeky by poking its tongue out at us lol. Fluffy as sarah and tanya like to call it is perfect in every possible way, everything is going as it should be. So after yesterday I have become more excited and absolutely cant wait to hold our Little precious babe in my arms. Hi babes,
Yay got some scrappin done, well actually I would call it catch up on all the projects ive signed up for :( But all is good, feels great when I get them done a bit of weight off my sholders :) Anyhoo the scrappin I have done over the weekend is for 2 different circle journals, one is the Bucket List, the other is things I love, adore and treasure. Tomorro will also post more pics of an atc I created for lss swap and my ultrasound pictures, yay cant wait, finally after the long extended wait we get to see bubba :) We are very very very excited.
Yesterday we also had a great arvo spent with awesome friends, caught up with rach, aaron and issy yesterday, alex absolutely loved the play with issy and of course when rach and I get together you cant shut us up, the poor men had no chance to gasbag amongst themselves, lol, they were on daddy patrol hehe.

Yes i can already hear some of you saying, what, why, nooooooo LOL. But in all honesty i dont use my cricut machine, i have only ever used it twice since buying it, For some reason I just prefer to do my own titles and my own die cuts. So therfor it is up for sale, I have listed this item on ebay under cricut machine, so if any of you are interested this wonderful machine is starting at $240.00, yes thats right! Its in perfect working order, australian made, no adaptor required, new blade already installed, comes with george font but unfortunately i lost the die cut mat in our move, so that is the only thing you need to buy for it. In other news We have our ultrasound coming up in a weeks time, cant wait :) So if we choose we can find out what the gender of our oompa loompa is, but sorry guys you all have to wait :) I figure there arnt many suprises left in life, so if i can save myself one suprise then why not, so we have no idea what we are having but we both think it could be a girl but in saying that ive been wrong before lol :) Family reading this are most likely all laughing right now, because during my first pregnancy i couldnt help myself i bought both girl and boy clothes, Majority ruling were girl clothes, so when alex was born we had to go shopping straight away LOL, thankfully while in hospital family and friends bought me some boy outfits, phew is all i can say and thankyou to those people. So below i thought i might just do a flash back from when alex was born with his little gifts.

Sorry too, reason i'm apologizing is becuase i have at the moment lost my mojo for scrapbooking, due to alex being really sick this week and now also df is sick too, so my time is spent at the moment running after my 2 boys, nasty flu :( But i promise you will see some layouts very very soon. Got the papercraft expo coming up in brisbane soon, so very excited cant wait to shop :) :) :)

Hi all,
Hope you all had a wonderful mothers day and spoilt your mothers or were spoilt rotten yourselves :) My mothers day was super awesome, started at 5am by heading off to car boot sale, i'm a sucker for a good find and bargain and yep i found one, a really cool box for my scrap room to put all my trinkets in, its like one of those old button boxes. Then after dragging my family out we came home and df with the help of alex cooked me a bacon and egg toasted sandwhich, yummy. Then alex and jamie came out of the bedroom with a bright pink bag, first alex gave me this beautiful card then he handed me the bag yelling taaaaa mummy, inside were these gorgeous ELMO JAMMIES, lol super cute, thats all i wanted was pj's, now alex and i both have elmo flannalets :) After a rest they took me out for lunch finished off with a walk in the park with lots of photos, just perfect.

Oh and anouther great thing happened earlier on in the week, i met my new awesome friend Rach, her fiance and her darling little izzy. Was such a perfect day, felt like we had known eachother for ages and tomorro all 4 of us Rach, i and the 2 kidlets are off for some scrap shopping :) picnic in the park and coffee with my other 2 scrap friends. Cannnnnnnnnttt wait, we both need to get out more often :)luv ya chook

For me this is my second mothers day and i am just so greatful to my df and Alex for making me a mum, i just couldnt possibly imagine my life any other way now, my child and soon to be children are what makes my world go round. How are we all today?? Hope everyone is well and safe. For me today I am resting up, with a dvd and scrappin, yay my kinda day. Anyways reason being df took me to hospital last night as i woke up at 2am due to blood loss, so i woke hubby and off we went, i was so worried and concerned for the baby that i had to put my mind at ease. Got there to emergency they told us to go up to labour ward..eeeeeeeeekkkkk what the i was thinking, why. So we get there, the midwife takes us into delivery suite, eeekkk again brings back so many memories being in that big room, nice and quite and peaceful and scray at the same time. Meanwhile the whole time i was thinking please dont let any one be giving birth tonite, i dont wanna hear the painful screams, scare me outa my brains knowing that i am doing this all over again, but on the other hand i wouldnt have it any other way. Anyway midwife checked us out, called the doc in they did a swap, omg very uncomfy for those that have had it, 2nd time round for me arh. They also did baby heartbeat ultrasound as i hadnt felt baby move for couple of hours, thankfully all is fine with bub and me, i'm just a little sore today with sore tummy. So for docs orders i am too rest today and i did exactly that well this morning anyway, i did some scrappin and this is what i have completed, thought i better do this layout due to next mothers day coming up, if i didnt get this done i would most likely be up to my eyeballs in layouts of alex before bub. Hope ya like, leave me some love. Hi guys,
Lots to show today! Finally I got to sit down and scrap for myself, i've been wanting to do some scrap therapy and last night was the niiight!! Still got lots more layouts in my head, and little time to do it in, cos i just know when this baby arrives I wont have hardly any time for the first couple of months anyway.
I am absolutely super dooper proud of this layout, will try and submit this one i think, ive had the photo sitting in my scrap room for months now and last night i found my mojo :)So here it is i hope you like :)

Next I made this cute little goodie box for my sweet man, i filled it with lots of chocolates, I wanted to let him know that I do think of him and appreciate all his hard work, I think i made his day heheh. Inspiration came from a kinder suprise box lol.

Lastly here are just some photos df took of us last weekend at my most favourite place in the world Tamborine Mountain. A pregnancy shot, btw very tired on this day we had been awake since 4am, going to carboot sale then the day didnt officially stop until about 4pm when all 3 of us crashed out :)

Thought i would quickly share some items i have created in the past couple of weeks, have been super busy lately, with pregnancy and organising stuff that blogging has been put on the back burner as of late. But anyhoo below is a few items i made for a felt embellishment swap over at scrapchat, love the rabbit, too cute.

Next is my ATC card for the the scrapbook cupboard swap, our theme this month is clowns, did alot of googling to find the right clown but found there were heaps of scary clown and sad clowns and i wanted to create something happy and fun, so after days of thinking i remembered those old clown games at the shows where you put the ball in the moving clowns mouth, of course i couldnt create that lol so pinball like circus clown game atc was born hehhe hope ya'all like.

Hiiiiiiii guys, wow cant beleive its been 2 weeks since i last posted. I have been busy creating i promise, just havent finished the projects yet. As of late, i have mainly been doing ATC cards and a CJ for the lss. So been busy, cant wait to show you my cj, just need to finish it.
Hmmm what else, well day to day life has been great, especially with all my new friends from scrapbook shop, love yas all. Have had a few emotional ups and downs with pregnancy, think the hormones are playing havoc on me. BUT WHOA this bubba can kick!!! This past week i have received the most biggest strongest kicks, the bubba seems to kick alex when i pick him up and if he's knees are digging into my belly, but last night the bub decided to give this almighty kick while i was falling asleep, scared the bjeezus outa me!! So this bub must be a girl since its already picking on alex. LOL. We are nearly 20 weeks now, almost half way there and will be going for next ultrasound soon. CANT WAIT.Heres my belly so far, sorry bout the pic a bit dodgy.

Hope everyone is having a fantastic wkend? Mine has been really good actually, very busy which is not normal for me :) Yesterday i went out to lunch with the scrap girls at this gorgeous garden place, food was ok but the company was even better. We went out to celebrate, dianas, sarah's and my birthdays. Received some fantastic ATC'S from Tanya, really cool voodoo doll one and a birthday atc, also received awesome atc from diana too and have some more on the way from sarah. Cant wait to see that one chicky!! Didnt expect anything the company was all i could of ever asked for, oh and taryn also gave us 3 girls these gorgeous plates, with butteflies on them. too cute. But yesterday i woke up after having a dream about an atc card i would make for the birthday girls, and this is what i came up with. Hope you like. Finally i am sitting down relaxing, after shopping with my mum for pressies for my aunties 25th silver anniversary. They will be here soon all the way from rocky. We did the spare room up just for them with a basket full of goodies and made the room all pretty like a resort style thingy.Spoilt i tell ya! So just cleaned the house, mowed the yard all the usual, phew all over. Have great wkend chicky babes!!!much luv

well i thought i would just share with you some things i made last night and a little while ago. Last night i went to a Kazazz party with my local scrap girls at Diana's house. Was heaps of fun and opened my eyes to the scrappin world, while we were there we did a make and take, so we quickly made these 2 awesome cards, definately helps when you have everything right there in front of you available :) and yes i couldnt help myself i had to buy some stamps lol, i bought this really cute little owl stamp and these awesome rubons with bling and anouther stamp that i can use to put on the back of my creations. Way cool. Thanks di for inviting me:)

My theme i have chosen is Favourite Childhood Stories Retold. I wanted a keepsake that i can read to my kidlets. A little update long time coming

hi beautiful people,
omg have I been a slacker or what with my blogging? I'm so sorry for my absence, have been pretty sick since coming back from tuross heads, morning sickness has finally subsided allowing me some time to scrap, yay, so i have a few little updates, not much but there will be heaps more in next couple of weeks.
so first up here is my second months of ATC's for the cupboard swap, our theme this month was reflections. The background of this card i printed on fabric and around the edges once i adhered it to my cardstock i added some gesso which gives it some texture and then i painted over it with a pretty metallic paint, then lots of cutting and adhering. Hope you like the end result.

Next little update are some journalling tags i made for a swap over at SBM forum, first time in this swap, so was really concerned of what people would expect, but i like to think these cards turned out good, the circle one i actually doodled at a scrap night cos i wasnt in the mood to scrap, and this is what i did lol. Butterfly one i just printed and the bright ideas i made it in paint shop pro, my mums been teaching me how to use the program, so happy.

Last is a embellishment swap i participated in over at SBM again, this time we had to make our own embellishment with the them valentines. Have a great day bloggers, and i hope you like :)

We're Back

hi people's,
yay we are home, after spending a week away with my df family in tuross heads NSW, its a little fishing town about an 1hr away from batemans bay. Nice little place to get away and relax, read and heaps of photo opportunities. We were lucky we stayed in this awesome beach house across from the beach, but unfortunately it rained everyday just about, so we went for quick walks in between rains lol. We told df family that we were expecting anouther baby, they were just super excited and have made me even more happier by accepting our offer by coming to stay for the birth of the new addition. cant wait, but anyhoo as you could prolly imagine havent had time for any scrappin lately but hopefully my mojo all returns later in the week. I'll just leave ya with some piccies from tuross.

hello again,
today i feel like a new me, well actually that was the intentions, yesterday i went and got all my hair chopped off, i wanted a new fresh funky look and plus this year is a year for change for me. This year i have made a pledge to myself that i am only focusing on me for once, i am not going to worry about anyone else in the world but me, my unborn baby, my little boy alex and my df jamie, i am purely focusing on my family. This year i am going to not be negative or have negative people around me, its too time consuming and i hate the feeling of being drained of all my energy. Its hello positivity and goodby negativity, i beleive this will enrich my life even more and those around me, i will also try not to gossip, gets ya no where but in trouble. There is heaps more i could go on about, but these are the main points to a new and better life for me. Bring it on. oh heres a pic of my hair, very different from long hair that ive never cut off.
And tomorro i will be posting pics of our ultrasound, a little bub in there 9 weeks and 5 days old :)

Just thought i would share some minor scrapbooking with you all. I joined an ATC group here on the coast and this was my first attempt for the group. Our theme was zodiac and i just chose to do my star sign, i was sooooooo nervous that i wouldnt be up to the girls expectations lol, but i think i did alright. Let me know what ya think. I'm so excited that i can finally share this news with you all, my partner and i are expecting our 2nd baby, yup i'm pregnant! Its been so hard not being able to tell anybody, the original plan was not to tell anybody until our first ultrasound, but people let things slip, and family get upsett by me not telling straight away, but i need to respect my partners wishes too. So i will let that slide, i cant make everyone happy. So now the majority of my side know but none of jamies side knows but they soon will next month when we go away with them all.cant wait to tell them.
For me the realisation of having anouther oompa loompa has set in, due to morning sickness yuck,lol, hopefully its nearly over, if i'm right i should be about 9-10 weeks this week. This time round though i have to admit its nicer being pregnant, not as much sickness and pain as i had with alex, but still i hate the first trimester ALOT!!! FOr my df it hasnt really sunk in yet, i think it will when we go for our ultrasound and he can see the little bub jumping around, its his favourite the very first screening. Whereas for alex, we need to get him a big boys bed, so outa the cot he goes, he is only 16 months old but we are talking to him all about babies and i keep pointing to my tummy and saying look alex baby in there and its sooo cute he actually points now and yells baby!!
oh one other thing, must be a womans intuition, but i knew i was pregnant probably about 3 weeks before i did the test, but i thought nah i'll wait a little longer, and the only reason i did the test was because i was actually going back on my diet after chrissy, but i said to df that hmm i think i should do a test first just to make sure before i start hammering myself and yup. Have any of you else felt like this before??
But anyways 7 months to get alex sorted out through hospital, the peaditricians have promised that they'll help me as much as they can before the bub arrives.
FAR OUT, i'm writing a novel. sorry guys just really excited, been a big month again.

Not a good start to the year :(

hi again ,
like i said in my earlier post alot has happened! Today my baby and I were released from hospital. The day before new year alex became pretty sick and was vomiting alot, at first i thought it must be just a 24hour gastro bug, so naturally i expecting him to be kinda sick new years eve and he was, he kept vomiting everywhere, wasnt eating anything but was continually craving water alot. Was strange tho because on new years day he was fine and fit as a button. But by 6.00 that night he was sick again, and he went straight to sleep and slept through all night, very strange for alex, then on the 2nd jan, he wouldnt even wake up, he was tired still and sleeping continually, he couldnt even hold his head up, he had no energy, so i walked to the doctors, to try and get him in, but with no luck, so they said they could see me at 1.00pm that arvo, well by 12.oo alex was so bad, he was vommiting alot and kept falling asleep while he was vomiting. So by the time it was our appointment time, he was even more worse. We walked into the gp office i started to explain what was going on then again alex decided to let loose and he did, he spewed all over the doc and me and the desk and the floor absolutely everywhere, the doc then ordered us straight to the hospital.
anyway we arrived at the hospital, they took us straight in and hooked alex up to a drip, as he had no sugar, glucose or sodium, etc he had nothing left in his body, once the drip was put in the docs said here mum have a cuddle, and as i was cuddling him he was falling to sleep then all of a sudden he kinda bent back looked at me in a strange way then his eyes rolled in the back of his head, and his face started expanding, his cheeks grew his eyes expanded and went puffy and his body was ridged, i quickly put him on the bed and screamed whats wrong with my baby, the nurse yelled for the doctors and we were pushed outa the way and they all crowed around him then gave him a needle shot of vellium, our little baby suffered a seizure! it was the most scariest horrifying experience ever, we thought we were loosing our little baby! then the docs called us over and asked us to talk to him and see if alex would recognise us and the hardest part was that he didnt, his eyes were still in the back of his head. He remained like this for wat seemed like forever. Finally 20 mins later he came around and wanted just his daddy and mummies attention. So we were admitted to hospital adn they ran a series of tests on him, the found he has rotavirus and has an issue with water as he drinks 2 much and only craves water. So next week we have to go to brisbane and see the specialists up there so they can run a series of tests on him again, so now we have to wait. Will let you know more later. xoxoxo belynda

hi everyone :) wow its been a while since i posted, been a very hectic week, actually a few weeks, first of all i had a suprise visit by alyssa and rob and jay and dave too, they were staying for chrissy then the rest of the family showed up slowly, my auntie and uncle and their 8 kids, so all in all there were about 23 ppl staying with us for 2 weeks, alot of fun!!!! some bad some good but thats how it goes.

I hope you all had a fabo chrissy, ours was great we were all spoilt rotten, especially alex as you can expect with him only beig 1! Lots of pressies to open and fantastic food to be eaten, so a great day for us all then boxing day was full of SHOPPING..whoo hooo.bargains i tell you.

Now for new years, goodbye '08' and hello '09'. Our new years was spent at surfers paradise watching the fireworks, and while we were waiting, rob my bro got a digging in the sand and started creating a couch to sit on, then other family members got involved and an awesome couch was created by midnite. Looks so cool!

OMG, OMG, OMG, my best friend AKA sister in law AKA ALYSSA!! kept a big naughty secret from me, i woke up to the sound of her voice saying lynny lynny, wake upppp, and i open my eyes to see her standing right there, i jumped outa that bed in a bloody hurry i tell you for sooooooooo many cuddles. She and my bro and nephew and her dad and her bro drove all the way through the night from Forbes and suprised us all, arhhhh everyone kept a secret from me lol, but it was well worth it to have my bestie sitting in teh same room as me and even better too, she brought all her scrappin stuff with her, so we have alot of scrap time to catch up on together. hello hello
wow..second post in 2 days..im on a roll, lol. Well as promised, here is a layout i did recently of my little boy from last christmas when he was 3 months old, his very first christmas. For this layout i was soo super proud i made all the embellishments from hand...the scallops borders down the 2 sides, i wrapped wire around them threaded on some buttons and some beads to try and create a tinil like effect (decoration) and the red circle with the petals is actually a milk bottle cap lol, i just cut up the sides and yet again threaded some wire with beads through and around the petals and then just cut out some cardstock as the circle backing and then made a chrissy tree wrapped with ribbon. Love it although i did have trouble adhering it, so out came the trusty glue gun!! Guess thats scrappin for ya, anything you can find around the place lol. Hope you like :)

HELLO bloggers :) wow can you beleive christmas is just around the corner! I cant, but thankfully just about have done all the chrissy shopping, just got jamie to go!
anyways this week has been a very productive week, i have made christmas cards, have done a few layouts, one for white with one, which i am yet to send to them, need to wait until tomorro for good lighting and omg you should see my scrapbooking room, WHAT A MESS!!!! i really should clean up after each project but just cant be bothered because when im on a roll, i just keep going. I have also sent of my secret santa pressie for sbm, cant wait to receive mine, so in otherwords i have done more scrapbooking in one week then i have done in months! so keep tuned, will be posting projects tomorro, oh and to finish off here is a pic of us with santa :) only 14 days to go! :)

yup i know crazy huh? i absolutely love this time of year, and its the 1st of December today, so you know what that means? yup you guessed it, chrissy deco goes up, cant wait and i have been waiting for this day to show you my new creation i have done, introducing my Advent Calender! I'm so super proud of it, this year i just wanted to create something for my kids and DF to enjoy and something a little bit differnt too so we can put more choccies or lollies in it :) i made lots of boxes to store the goodies and i also made little envelopes which i plan to put little notes in there sending my family on a treasure hunt for the goodies! something to keep them all on their toes, lol i only have 1 little boy atm but oneday there'll be more :) :)

I'm so happy to have received my LOs back!! i've waited over 2 months to get them back, finally i can share with you what i have created. I hope you like, please leave a comment, i love feedback. xoxoxo take care chooks

My very first challenge for the competion, we had to do a LO on ourselves, i knew it was coming and it had to be first! i have never done a LO on myself before, but i am so happy i now have :)

My favourite page of all, i just simply love the colours, i rushed this page thou. I had 2 days to complete it because with the LO we had to use product packaging, so i had to trash my scraproom upside down in search of some kind of packaging, i used my journaling tag as packaging.

For this challenge we had to buy this special ribbon that came into stock (sorry cant remember what it was called) but the ribbon felt like paper and you could shred it and curl it, was really unique paper ribbon. Anyway we had to use it in our layout.

I absolutely adore this LO, we had to use stampin on our page and i chose a cute easter bunny stamp and created a layered border at the bottom

In this challenge we had to use core paper, showing the core of the paper either by tearing it or sanding it or whatever your imagination came up with, while i was doing this layout i had no mojo, so took me a while to come up with something lol.

For this challenge both these 2 LO's below Had to have the same photo but we had to do two entirely different LO's.

i just recently attended a freinds wedding, and she asked me to paint her a signature canvas, at first i wasnt too sure bout this as you see i dont have much time now a days with bub and i dotn have much patience when it comes to painting..i get fustrated with myself lol...anyways here is my signature canvas..xoxoxo

heya people,
far out i'm slack at updating my blog:( anyways heres a LO i did this week of my little boy, i found my mojo this week and made some time for myself to sit down and scrap while bub was asleep :) oh and here is a LO i did at the start of the year in the good old days with my sis spending late nites a scrappen:) thought i would share. hope you like.
anyways its stinking hot here, i'm ova the heat already bring on some rain.
